Heather Bickham

CSCS, FRC, SFG1, SFL, PN1

Heather Bickham is a native of Louisiana. She graduated with a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Performing Arts and Technical Theater from Centenary College of Louisiana in 2007. She began her journey in New York City working as an aspiring actress and electrical stage hand. Her years as an electrician allowed her a behind the scenes look at many worlds including movie sets, theatrical plays, outdoor festivals, and fashion week. Although her peers were all very strong and skilled in their craft, she noticed that many workers struggled with chronic ailments from the long hours of repetitive movements associated with the job. Coming from a family of blue collar manual laborers she knows all too well the struggle of trying to maintain one’s physical health while still trying to make a living.

Heather learns from as many resources and mentors as possible to be able to offer the best care to every person that she works with. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She holds specialty certifications with Strong First in Kettlebells & Barbells (SFG1, SFL) . She is a Functional Range Conditioning Specialist (FRC) in Mobility. She is a Certified Conditioning Coach from Bioforce Conditioning and a Precision Nutrition Coach (PN1).

She credits her personal and professional development to the hard work put in with her own coach. The outside perspective and support helped her achieve her goals and allowed her to experience training through the client’s eyes.

In her spare time, Heather enjoys studying the guitar, trying new recipes on an all-to-willing spouse, hiking or jogging outdoors, and reading.

“As much as we trainers harp on the importance of physical fitness, it is also equally important to nurture one's own creativity, sense of levity, and charity. I truly believe that finding balance is the key to living a life of contentment.”
